Position Overview:
Naples Transportation & Tours is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Tour Agent to join our team at our storefront location. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with guests, providing exceptional service, and helping create memorable experiences for visitors to Southwest Florida.
As a Tour Agent, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, assisting with tour inquiries, bookings, and overall guest experience for our trolley tours and Everglades excursions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist walk-in guests with tour information, recommendations, and bookings
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide accurate, friendly assistance to prospective and existing guests
- Respond to online inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Process reservations using our booking platform (Starboard)
- Provide detailed information on our trolley tours and Everglades excursions
- Ensure accuracy of bookings, guest details, and special requests
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming storefront environment
- Collaborate with internal team members to ensure smooth daily tour operations
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor
- Comfortable using computers and booking software (experience with Starboard is a plus, but not required)
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual with a strong attention to detail
- Availability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including at least one weekend day
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, retail, or customer service
- Familiarity with the Naples / Southwest Florida area and local attractions
