Job Overview

This is an on-site position in Fort Myers, FL. We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Demand Planning & Inventory Control Manager to lead our supply chain analytics and inventory management initiatives.  Experienced in CPG, beauty, manufacturing, or omni channel retail is needed to be successful in this role. This pivotal role involves developing accurate demand forecasts, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring seamless coordination across manufacturing, logistics, and sales functions. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced data analysis tools and supply chain management strategies to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Develop and maintain precise demand forecasts using tools such as SAP APO, R, Power BI, SAS, and Tableau to support production planning and procurement activities.
• Monitor inventory levels across multiple locations, implementing inventory control procedures to minimize excess stock and prevent shortages.
• Utilize ERP systems including and MRPs to analyze sales trends, production schedules, and supply chain data for continuous improvement.
• Conduct root cause analysis of supply chain disruptions or inventory discrepancies to identify actionable solutions.
• Collaborate with purchasing teams to align procurement strategies with forecasted demand and inventory targets.
• Implement supply chain analytics techniques to optimize logistics operations and enhance product availability.
• Prepare detailed reports on demand patterns, sales analysis, and inventory performance for executive review.
• Lead initiatives in process improvement to streamline forecasting accuracy and inventory processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in vertically integrated manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with S&OP or IBP processes
• Background in fast-growth consumer brands or omnichannel retail
• Experience managing seasonal demand and promotional forecasting

Qualification and Experience:

• 5 years in demand planning, inventory control, or supply planning
• (CPG, beauty, personal care, or retail preferred)
• Proven experience preventing out-of-stocks in a multi-SKU environment
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills (forecasting models, pivots, scenario planning)
• Experience working cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Finance
• Hands-on experience with ERP and WMS systems
• (Shopify integrations a plus)
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or related field; advanced certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCP are preferred.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 Annually (BOE)
