Job Title: Club Receptionist

Job Summary: The Club Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for members and guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves managing incoming calls, handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining club communications. The receptionist will assist with member check-ins, event coordination, and various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the country club.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet members and guests with friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and provide accurate information about club services, events, and amenities.
  • Schedule appointments, reservations, and event bookings.
  • Manage the club’s reservation system and ensure proper documentation of all appointments and requests.
  • Assist in the coordination of club events, activities, and special requests.
  • Handle member check-ins, ensuring accurate records and smooth transactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Monitor and manage club emails, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
  • Assist with administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and maintaining member records.
  • Address any concerns or issues from members and guests, escalating to management as needed.
  • Ensure a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and customer service at all times.
  • Notify departments of received shipments.
  • Process Shop Store sales.
  • Make outside reservations for members during reciprocal season
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Additional education or certification in hospitality or administration is a plus).
  • Previous experience in customer service or front desk role preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and familiarity with reservation systems.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
