Handyman / Maintenance Technician (Residential Properties)
Premier Property Management – SWFL
We are hiring an experienced, reliable Handyman to join our property management team.
This role will support our residential portfolio by handling general maintenance requests, repairs, and small projects across multiple properties. Must be dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently.
Responsibilities
- Perform general residential repairs and maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues (outlets, switches, fixtures, breakers, etc.)
- Handle plumbing repairs (clogs, leaks, faucet/toilet repairs, garbage disposals, etc.)
- Drywall patching, painting, and cosmetic home repairs
- Basic carpentry (baseboards, doors, hardware, shelving installs)
- Light HVAC troubleshooting (filters, thermostat checks)
- Complete work orders efficiently with proper documentation
- Keep properties safe, clean, and in good working condition
- Communicate clearly with property managers about job status and needs
- Provide honest recommendations when jobs require a licensed trade
Requirements
- Strong experience in residential maintenance or handyman work
- Knowledgeable in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs
- Own tools and reliable transportation
- Ability to problem-solve and work independently
- Strong communication and professionalism when entering tenant homes
- Must be punctual, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
- Ability to pass a background check
- Preferred but not required: HVAC certification, electrical/plumbing licensing, or previous property management maintenance experience

- Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, Fort Myers (mainly Collier & Lee County)
