Responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations on patients.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Take radiographs as ordered by the physician
- Explain procedure to patient and answer any questions
- Prepare x-ray room for patient exam
- Position and prepare patient to obtain appropriate radiographs
- Monitor and ensure safety of patient during radiological exam
- Perform daily chart prep for x-ray exams
- Upload outside imaging into PACS / storage system
- Update and maintain x-ray equipment
- Maintaining work area in a safe, clean and orderly fashion
- Help answer telephone and take messages
- Help prepare and room patient to be seen by physician
- Help schedule patient appointments
- Help clean office, including exam rooms
- Help scan documents in the electronic health records system
- Attend required staff meetings
- Other duties designated by supervisor
- Assist Physician with Pain Injections/Procedures using C-Arm
