Job Summary
The Supervisor Supply Chain Site Warehouse & Ancillary Site Distribution is a key liaison between the NCH ancillary sites and Supply Chain Services. As such, the incumbent is responsible for assuring all supplies, equipment, and materials are available as required to support operational needs. The Supervisor will support the Manager of Supply Chain Site Warehouse and Distribution in overseeing the receiving, handling, storage, distribution, and logistics activities within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards are met. Coverage of other locations may be required on occasion as required.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Act as primary Supply Chain liaison between the NBC warehouse and all NCH ancillary sites, including medical group offices & urgent care centers.
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation within assigned area.
- Ensure that the warehouse and distribution center operate at peak performance, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, monitoring, and managing operational goals.
- Oversee warehouse and distribution center operations by determining product handling and storage requirements.
- Backfills assigned responsibilities of the Site Warehouse and Distribution Manager as needed.
- Oversee daily operations, while controlling inventory and logistics.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations.
- Creates and places electronic purchase orders (from department requisitions) to primary distributors for delivery to designated departments both on and off site.
- Support other hospital warehouse and satellite storeroom locations as needed.
- Minimum of High School or GED required.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in warehousing or distribution.
- Proven record of providing a high level of customer service and customer satisfaction preferred.
- Must have a Florida driver’s license and successfully pass a DMV check.
- Able to operate a forklift and pallet jack. (Certification required within 30 days of employment)
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to drive a large box truck (non CDL)
- Intermediate computer knowledge: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
