About The Role
Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and service timelines while maintaining quality standards and a safe, sanitary work environment.
What You Will Do
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work all stations on the line (grill, sauté, cold line) and prepare menu items according to recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards.
- Complete mise en place and station setup for various meal periods.
- Safely operate, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment.
- Properly label, date, and rotate food items; maintain par levels and support efforts to manage food cost, reduce waste, and ensure efficient usage.
- At least 1 year of professional cooking experience in a high‑volume or high‑quality culinary environment.
- Ability to operate, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment such as fryers, broilers, stoves, ovens, mixers, food processors, slicers, steamers, flat‑top grills, and steam tables.
- Strong knife skills and a solid understanding of culinary techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Strong time‑management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 70 lbs.
