Qualifications
- Certification for Clinical Medical Assistant (Required)
- Prior medical office experience
- CPR/BLS certified
- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Comfortable with daily office and administrative duties
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet, direct and check in all patients and visitors
- Verify and update patient demographics and health plan information
- Provides patients with information regarding clinic policies and practices
- Assists patients with billing inquiries. Works with billing service for processing of insurance claims and patient payments.
- Schedule patient appointments
- Effectively communicates with patients regarding Clinic and Referral services
- Answer incoming calls, faxes, emails, checks daily and addresses USPS mail delivery
- Take detailed messages for the medical staff Take Vital Signs
- Enter patient information in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) including: demographics, medical history, all medically relevant data for each visit
- Collect lab specimens
- Administer Injections
- New Patient Intake
- Rx Refills
- Administer Cognitive Testing
- Cleans examination rooms and other work areas; stocks inventory as needed
- Provide each patient with excellent, personalized service
- Performs other duties as assigned
Experience

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
