- This is a temporary position not eligible for benefits or paid time off.
- Unboxing and prep of new computers.
- Light repairs as needed on laptops and Chromebooks.
- Learning the imaging and reimaging process for District computers.
- Learning District systems and maintenance.
- Working with specialized IT systems such as Network and/or Data Opps Teams.
- Organization of computers and computer peripherals.
- Cleaning and maintenance of District AV equipment.
- Supporting users and their technology needs.
- Position is for current Naperville 203 High School Students ONLY.
- Students must be currently enrolled in the Career Internship Work-Based Learning Course.
- Candidates must be 16 years of age.
- Candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills, dependability, willingness and ability to take direction from Project Leaders.
- Interest in an IT career pathway is desired. Candidates will not be afraid to get their hands dirty!

Internship Position Description: IT Department Staff provides assistance to the Infrastructure Department within IT203. Assignments can be with User Support, Network, Telecommunication, Assets, and Data Operations. Duties will revolve around technical support and projects of the Department. Duties include computer/technology receiving, prep, cleaning, movement, and setup.

Physical Demand(s) of Position:
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; significant stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Generally the job requires 10% sitting, 40% walking, and 40% standing. The job is performed under some temperature extremes and in a generally hazard free environment. Close vision required, ability to communicate and receive communication required. Able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
