Duties

• Assist customers in selecting automotive parts, accessories, and related products through engaging conversations and expert advice
• Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves, conducting inventory control, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment using POS (Point of Sale) systems
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit card payments, and POS operations with precision and professionalism
• Provide technical guidance on automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, and automotive service options to help customers make informed decisions
• Maintain a clean and organized counter area, ensuring product displays are appealing and stock levels are optimized
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and retail math skills to track sales data, inventory levels, and order fulfillment processes
• Communicate effectively with customers via phone etiquette to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, or provide product information in a friendly manner
• Collaborate with team members to support dealership or retail sales initiatives, marketing efforts, and promotional activities

Skills

• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, and automotive service practices
• Excellent negotiation skills to close sales effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases with clear communication
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or inventory management software for tracking parts and supplies
• Proven ability in sales management, retail math, inventory control, stock stocking, and order fulfillment processes
• Proficiency in POS systems, cashiering procedures, cash handling accuracy, and phone etiquette
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills to build rapport with customers and team members alike
• Dealership experience or familiarity with automotive repair shops is highly desirable
