We are Napa Cannabis Collective and we are thrilled to be building community and optimizing its health. We are a Medical Cannabis Dispensary in need of service oriented team players. As a new and expanding work environment, we are looking for individuals’ who are self motivated, looking to learn and amplify with us. The City of Napa is considering amending the current cannabis ordinance to include adult use/recreational sales, which we highly anticipate and are excited to possibly have the opportunity to serve a wider population! We are in search of vibrant, hard working folk who are up for growing with us.
We are interested in applicants who are 21 years of age with a valid ID and the ability to earn a Private Proprietary Security Officer license.
We are in need of adaptable individuals who are willing to wear many hats, moving from position to position, as deemed necessary per business operations and essential functions. The cannabis industry is very new, quick paced and always evolving. If you are a dynamic individual who is confident and community oriented then this is the job for you!! Starting wages begin at $15 with a wide capacity to increase and flourish as the company expands. Each employee will be cross trained and operate in various different positions, as deemed necessary. Employees receive a 30% discount off of product and are eligible to receive compensation for 50% of their health insurance up to $200 after 3 months of full time employment.

The position of hire encompasses: Reception, Dispensary/Sales Floor and Security
Guard/PPO, as mentioned above, you will be moving throughout each department fluidly. Below are such Position Summaries:
Reception:
Manage and support Reception functions and operations; provide implementation and training of all policies and procedures, for both employees and members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reception, mail, filing, office supplies, general clerical duties
- Create a positive work environment
- Act as first point of contact for patients and visitors, including government officials
- Properly complete opening and closing duties
- Ensure all Reception forms stocked
- Properly follow each policy and procedure
- Assist Managers with duties as assigned
- Quality Check data entry and ensure all patient information is received and processed correctly
- Manage Membership database
- Support Member communications
- Carry out other duties and special projects as assigned

Cannabis Consultant:
Consult members on cannabis options based on member needs; provide excellent customer service and POS transactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide members accurate information and appropriate consult to address the member’s symptoms or need with appropriate cannabis products
- Remain informed of all strains, products and services available to members
- Remain informed of all new product information related to cannabis, including methods for ingestion, recommended dose and possible side effects
- Remain informed of any changes in cannabis policies
- Provide excellent customer service to all members
- Complete cash transactions with minimal mistakes
- Bring a positive, friendly and helpful attitude to work everyday
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Any other tasks requested by Management
Preferential Requirements:
- Robust Communicator
- Open availability including nights and weekends

Security Guard/ PPO:
Responsible for ensuring the safety of all members and staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor business park and streets, watching for pedestrians and unusual activity
- Monitor security cameras at all times
- Ensure security cameras are functioning properly
- Welcome members as they walk towards the building, open the door for them
- Complete daily Community Walks - ensuring safety and cleanliness
- Conduct security checks of the building exterior and interior at opening and closing
- Investigate any safety concerns from staff or members
- Respond to any situation where a member or staff person feels unsafe
- Perform opening and closing duties as outlined on the Security Guard Checklist
- Walk members and staff to their cars, if requested
- Assist staff with opening and closing duties
Position Requirements:
- Must have Proprietary Private Security Officer certification/license and be registered with the State of California by hiring date
- Security or Law Enforcement experience preferred
- Excellent customer service experience and phone etiquette required
- Knowledge of de-escalation strategies and experience working in stressful situations
- Observant and fast acting in a stressful situation
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to move quickly if needing to respond to an emergency situation
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Will primarily be standing throughout the shift
