STAR Group, LLC is seeking to hire a full time Outside Sales Representative. This position will be for our Mankato, MN store. *The salary will be based on experience*
**Strong Automotive knowledge needed for this position**
The drive to succeed and the initiative to continue to grow sales
Prior auto parts sales experience helpful
Excellent customer service skills and ability to build strong relationships.
Must have a good driving record and ability to maintain it.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds; bend/squat to floor level shelving; climb steps; stand for long periods of time.
Primary duties and responsibilities include:
- Working with the Store Manager and Regional Manager to develop sales plans
- Call on existing wholesale customers to maintain and grow the current relationships and grow new sales with prospective customers.
- Promote the full line of NAPA products and programs
- Develop new customer relationships with wholesale customers through prospecting and cold calling
- Keep informed of new NAPA products or sales promotions by working with the product sales teams
- Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times.
- Achieve monthly sales quotas.
