Puller / Warehouse Associate
Classification: Full Time
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Essential Functions & Responsibilities: The following section contains the primary
responsibilities for this position. Job holder is responsible for performing any other duties as
assigned by management.
* Working Directly with Dispatch Manager, pulling parts for delivery drivers
* Accurately checks, verifies, stock, and pulling inventory to meet store and customer orders,
* Performs daily inspections of appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including
but not limited to: pallet jack, hand truck, scanners, printers, and ladders.
* Operates warehouse machinery in accordance with established safety procedures as
needed to maintain the warehouse stock.
* Completes required trainings and certifications as instructed.
* Stays abreast of and complies with hazardous material regulations and procedures.
* Assists in maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment at all times.
* Comply with all applicable laws / regulations, as well as company policies / procedures.
* Actively participates in all safety initiatives.
* Utilize and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required or as needed.
* Communicate effectively across all departments as needed.
* Maintain and contribute to a safe, positive working environment.
* Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
* Requires completion of a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or
equivalent combination of experience and education.
* Communicate effectively up through the chain of command.
* Work in a positive, productive, and professional manner.
* Previous experience in a distribution center and/or warehouse environment preferred.
* Must be able to read, understand written/verbal/audio instructions, and communicate
(written and verbally) to other team members.
* Ability to work with computer scanning equipment.

Qualifications Continued:
* Must be able to work both independently and in a Team environment.
* Ability to lift / carry by hand freight weighing up to 60 pounds several times a day.
* Able to push/pull up to 300 lbs. using mechanical aids, such as pallet jacks, hand trucks,
barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc.
* Ability to bend, twist, squat, climb, push and pull and move at an efficient pace while
meeting company standards.
Physical Requirements:
Physical demands to successfully perform essential job functions (reasonable accommodations may be
made for individuals with disabilities): standing, walking, lifting materials up to 60 pounds (individual
or team), carrying, pushing/pulling up to 300 lbs. using mechanical aids, climbing stairs, balancing,
stooping, kneeling, bending, squatting, reaching and twisting.
Noise Level:
The Noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate to noisy, the employee usually will
work in a non-climate-controlled environment. Work will entail the use of computer equipment. The
employee works alone, with others, around others, with verbal and face to face contact. Ability to travel
within the Reno / Sparks area and to rural Nevada.
