What are the responsibilities and job description for the Screen Printer position at Nantucket Embroidery?
Job Overview
We are looking for someone that has experience setting up multiple color jobs on both an Automatic & Manual screen printing press. We are a fast paced, sometimes hectic production house and need someone who already has the practice setting up, trouble shooting, and running multiple color designs. There will be days where you may need to burn a screen for yourself, or clean squeegees for yourself, but the majority of your day will be setting up and running jobs one after another. Pay will depend entirely on experience.
Duties
- Set up and operate screen printing machines, ensuring proper alignment and registration for each print run
- Monitor printing processes for quality control, making adjustments as needed to maintain color accuracy and print consistency
- Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards in production and proper handling of materials
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating screen printing machinery in a manufacturing or factory setting
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and safety compliance
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
