Job Summary
Nantucket Crisps is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Store Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our retail store. This store manager is responsible for ensuring a positive in-store experience, maintaining inventory, and supervising a team of summer interns. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
This is a full-time, seasonal position requiring approximately 40 hours per week, including at least one weekend day.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming store environment.
- Engage with customers and share the Nantucket Crisps story while promoting products.
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain visually appealing merchandising and ensure store cleanliness/organization.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock products, and coordinate with team on supply needs.
- Accurately process transactions and provide daily account recaps.
- Supervise, train, and schedule summer interns to ensure smooth store operations.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Prior retail experience required; supervisory or shift-lead experience preferred.
- Familiarity with retail operations, including opening/closing procedures.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong attention to detail.
