Position Title: Lead Software Engineer
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/ Week
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Lead a team within a Lean Software Development framework to analyze business requirements, translate them into detailed software designs, and ensure timely project delivery.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new services and features both client and server side, ensuring adherence to best practices and high standards of code quality.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Architects to align solutions with organizational objectives while managing the full software development life cycle.
- Provide technical direction, mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and guide the team through the continuous integration pipeline.
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement optimizations, driving both incremental and breakthrough advancements in the development process.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Seven (7) years of experience in the job offered, or as a Principal Software Engineer, Architect, Senior Lead Software Engineer, or a related position.
- Experience with the following:
- C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, Less, and HTML
- Arm, SQL, and YAML
- .Net Framework, .NET Core, Cloud Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Vue.js, and React.js.
- VS, TFS, Git, GitHub, and Nuget
- Continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tools, such as TeamCity, Azure, or DevOps
- Agile project management platforms, including Jira, Confluence, TFS, and Azure DevOps for tracking development progress and managing workflows
- SQL Server, Cosmo DB, Graph DB, and Elastic Search DB
- Agile frameworks, such as Scrum and Kanban and Lean Software Development for optimizing workflows, eliminating waste, and driving continuous improvement
- SOLID principles, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and a full understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering through design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
- $139,236 - $143,166 base salary plus bonus potential.
