Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Teller located in Murphy, NC. The Head Teller is responsible for supervising daily teller operations, ensuring accurate cash handling, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves training and mentoring tellers, overseeing branch cash flow, and maintaining compliance with banking regulations. The Head Teller also plays a key role in building lasting relationships with customers and assisting with problem resolution while supporting other branch activities as required.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accurate cash handling, transaction processing, and financial balancing
- Strong leadership and team management skills, including training and supervising employees
- Customer service and relationship-building abilities with a focus on delivering excellent experiences
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance practices
- Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with banking software and technology is an advantage
- Previous experience in a banking or financial role, preferably with supervisory responsibilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in banking or finance are a plus
