Cash Accountant

Fast growing, West Coast Self-Storage (www.westcoastselfstorage.com) is seeking a Cash Reconciliation Accountant to join our Accounting Team. You will be part of an accounting department that contributes to a strong service philosophy where people come first. What You'll Do

• Reconcile bank deposits and credit card payments daily to the general ledger for approximately 50 store locations
• Research and solve discrepancies including data input errors or system errors
• Build ongoing relationships with employees at locations you reconcile and contact them as questions arise (provide our stores excellent customer service)
• Reconcile monthly bank statements
• Ensure all documentation related to cash reconciliation is accurate and complete
• New store set up support
• Assist with projects or other duties as needed
  
  

What You'll Bring

• 2-4 years bookkeeping experience or Accounting Associates degree preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Experience with the financial reconciliation process
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Excel
• NetSuite experience is a plus
