This is an internship role for an Investor Relations and Fundraising Research Extern. The position is an on-site role based in New Haven, CT. The extern’s responsibilities will include conducting research and analysis to identify potential investors, preparing investor relations materials, supporting fundraising initiatives, and contributing to investor communications. The extern will collaborate closely with leadership to ensure alignment with the company’s financial and strategic objectives.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities.
- Excellent writing and communication skills for preparing investor-facing materials and reports.
- A solid understanding of financial concepts, fundraising, and investment strategies.
- Proficiency in problem-solving, attention to detail, and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the leadership team and contribute meaningfully to business development strategies.
- Interest in and/or exposure to biotechnology, nanomedicine, or related fields is a plus.
- Currently pursuing or having completed a degree in Business, Finance, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
