DUTIES
Nanobiosym is seeking strong candidates to work in a dynamic team environment of physicists, engineers, and other multidisciplinary scientists. The job responsibility will primarily include developing, designing, troubleshooting manufacturing SOP's, and microfluidics-based systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
Position requirements and skills:
- Must have BSME, MSME preferred. Plastics engineering degree considered.
- Plastics knowledge with engineering grade resins a must.
- More than 10 years' experience.
- Must have medical device experience, disposables preferred.
- Familiar with ISO13485 and 14971.
- Must have experience with process capability and SPC.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as plastic injection molding, ultrasonic welding, etc.
- Must be willing to be hands on and wear multiple "hats".
- Be ready to participate in quality systems, engineering, manufacturing, regulatory activities, etc.
- Individual would be a motivated, self-starter who handles multiple projects at the same time.
- Willing to work and thrive in a security conscious environment.
- Must self-manage projects and documentation.
In addition to technical skills, successful candidates possess strong organizational, communication and team skills, and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Proficiency in use of CAD software, SolidWorks, and other design and simulation software.
- Proficiency in injection molding techniques and associated maintenance of molds and machinery
- Experience in troubleshooting and programming systems, data collection, and SOP's.
