What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Operator position at Nano Solutions LLC?
Seeking an entry level CNC Operator to work in a fast paced, growing precision
manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will participate in and be
responsible for production work of precision high value ceramic and metal
components and assemblies. This position will require an individual who is capable
of successfully performing multiple tasks within both time and budgetary
constraints.
Job Duties
- Set-up parts on CNC machines. This includes running and testing programs, minor program edits, setting tool offsets.
- Read blueprints and drawings to determine tolerances and dimensions of machined parts.
- Inspect parts to ensure quality. Troubleshoot machine performance and make adjustments in case of out-of-tolerance parts.
- Perform preventive maintenance and keep the equipment and machining area clean and orderly.
- Follow established work instructions and standard operating procedures; ensure that process sheet or travelers are signed and documents are in order and up-to-date.
- Communicate with production control, quality and other shop personnel to manage and execute manufacturing schedules and timely product deliveries.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent trade school background.
- Technical Associates degree a definite plus.
- Experience with CNC machines.
- 1 year or more experience in a manufacturing or related industry highly recommended.
- Evidence of excellent mechanical aptitude and good hand to eye coordination.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision upon completion of initial training period.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
