Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nanny/Caregiver to provide attentive care and support for our child. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment while assisting with daily activities. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, patience, and the ability to adapt to the unique needs of our child. Candidates should be prepared to perform household tasks related to residential housekeeping and possess certifications in CPR/BLS to ensure safety at all times.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and personalized care to our son, including those with special needs or disabilities
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, dressing, and engaging in age-appropriate activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being at all times, including administering first aid and CPR when necessary
- Support development through educational play, reading, and creative activities
- Perform residential housekeeping duties related to child care areas, including cleaning toys, laundry, and maintaining a tidy environment
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding the child's progress and any concerns
- Adapt caregiving approaches based on individual needs and developmental stages of children
Experience
- Prior experience working as a nanny or caregiver is preferred
- Experience working with children with disabilities is highly desirable
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain prior to employment
- Demonstrated ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and patient demeanor
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28.0 – 40.0 per week
