A warm, family-oriented household is seeking an experienced, flexible live-in Nanny/Household Assistant to join them long-term. The family has one child, a 2-year-old daughter (turning 3 in November), who attends daycare from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM and naps after returning home. The role centers on afternoon and early-evening care, daycare transportation, and general household support during the family's busiest stretch of the day. This is a supportive, collaborative position rather than a sole-charge role — the family is looking for an additional set of hands, not a replacement caregiver. Responsibilities
- Attentive, engaged care for a 2-year-old (turning 3) during afternoon and early-evening hours
- Daycare pickups and drop-offs; safe transportation as needed
- Supporting nap and afternoon routines
- Age-appropriate play, activities, and developmental engagement
- Light household support including cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- General household assistance during peak-demand periods
- Occasional Saturday coverage as scheduled
Requirements
- Prior professional childcare experience with toddlers
- Valid driver's license, and comfort driving daily
- High energy level and the ability to keep pace with an active toddler
- Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with a schedule that shifts modestly day to day
- Willing to live in and share a home respectfully
- Comfortable with light household duties as part of a supportive role
- Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
