Location: Back Bay, near the Commons
Family residing in a luxurious 5-story brownstone in Back Bay, known for its historical value, are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Assistant/Housekeeper with a focus on maintaining a high standard of care for luxury items to join their household. This is a live-out position that involves extensive travel during the summer and throughout the year. Housekeeping tasks, with an emphasis and knowledge on preserving and caring for historical woodwork and luxury furniture. Experience in caring for designer items, including handbags and delicate fabrics providing expert care ensuring they are maintained properly. Assist with organizational tasks to ensure the household runs smoothly and efficiently. Provide occasional childcare for two children, ages 3 and 6, ensuring their safety and well-being. Coordinate and manage schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements for the family. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively is a must.

Schedule Compensation:
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (40 hours per week).
- Start day: ASAP!
- Pay: $30-$35 per hour, based on experience.
- Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation. 2 sick days and 2 personal days. 6 paid holidays.

- Maintain the organization of a 10,000-square-foot home (primarily the familys living spaces on the second and third floors).
- Handle laundry, dishes, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
- Restock household supplies and manage inventory.
- Assist with maintaining schedules and task checklists provided by the principal.
- Coordinate with contractors, handle deliveries, and manage household logistics
- Pick up the 6-year-old from school and drive to afternoon activities.
- Occasionally assist with childcare for the 3-year-old and 6-year-old.
- Join the family for summer travel to their home in the Hamptons (June through August, with live-in accommodations provided).
- Travel to Montana, approximately three weeks per year (February, March, and other times as needed).
- Previous experience as a housekeeper, family assistant, or in a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow checklists and take initiative without constant direction.
- Valid drivers license and comfort with driving children to activities.
- Flexibility to travel with the family during summer and other scheduled trips.
- Proactive and adaptable personality to thrive in a busy, dynamic household.
