Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care for children, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
- Ensure the safety of children at all times by maintaining a secure environment
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and needs
- Support children with disabilities by implementing personalized care plans when applicable
- Maintain a clean and organized caregiving environment
- Foster a nurturing atmosphere that encourages curiosity and emotional growth
Experience
- Prior experience in childcare, babysitting, daycare, or teaching roles is highly desirable
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Knowledge of infant care practices including feeding, diapering, and sleep routines
- Familiarity with toddler care activities and developmental milestones
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided if necessary
- Demonstrated ability to work well with children of different ages and backgrounds
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and team members
