Cashiers ensure the total satisfaction of the customers. An excellent Cashier must follow instructions well, gain a full understanding of how all service operations work, and be able to work with other crew members efficiently. Cashiers are responsible for the execution of customer service procedures to ensure the guest receives an amazing experience.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Gain extensive knowledge of the restaurant, menu, etc.
- Set up the cashier counter
- Answer phones with professionalism and knowledge
- Greet guests in a welcoming and sincere manner
- Take orders and answer a variety of questions
- Coordinate orders with kitchen and drivers
- Process payments
- Deal with complaints in a respectful manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization
- Break down and clean cashier counter
Job Qualifications
- Minimum degree required: High School Degree (or currently enrolled)
- Physically able to perform job duties
