Be a key, behind-the-scenes part of keeping the restaurant running smoothly!
We're looking for a dependable, energetic individual who enjoys early mornings and being busy throughout their shift handling a variety of tasks. This position is ideal for someone who has worked multiple positions in the restaurant industry, as you will be supporting the whole team, not just front or back of house. This person will be expected to actively help support service when busy, and also be self motivated to find the background tasks needing to be done when not busy.
Duties Will Include:
- Running food
- Busing tables and clearing any available dishes from the dining room
- Washing dishes for dining room as well as kitchen
- Taking out trash and breaking down boxes
- Unpacking deliveries
- Deep cleaning tasks such as wiping walls, cleaning fridges and ovens
- Helping tend to plants and small amount of outdoor space
- Assisting kitchen or bakery with prep tasks
- Assisting with stock and organization
The person for this position will need to be a well-rounded individual who already understands the flow within a restaurant. You will be expected to communicate and work well within our hard-working team, finding where to help when it's needed. We are a busy, family-run establishment who has been in business since 2009 serving breakfast, lunch, pastries, drinks and prepared foods to our community and we're looking for the right person to help support us during service.
We are looking for someone to work 3 to 5 days a week. The hours are flexible but would look, to start, like 8am until either 1:30pm or 2:30pm. Pay rate is flexible, depending on experience. The is a year round position and we reward employees for loyalty and longevity.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
