Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning to ensure high standards of hygiene and appearance.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures meticulously to promote health and safety for clients and team members.
- Operate various cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and janitorial tools efficiently and safely.
- Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with care.
- Handle heavy lifting and manual handling of cleaning supplies, furniture, or equipment safely to prevent injury.
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including sweeping walkways or outdoor furniture.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service throughout each appointment.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or janitorial cleaning with knowledge of cleaning detergents and surface-specific cleaning techniques.
- Strong understanding of floor cleaning methods such as mopping, buffing, and floor care maintenance.
