Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role based in Marshallville, OH. Sales Associate will engage with retail partners, designers, and customers to understand their needs, present product options, and guide them through the selection of draperies and window coverings that fit their design and budget preferences.
Daily responsibilities include direct customer service in Nancy's Draperies' showroom in Marshallville, OH, and in clients' homes as needed. The role involves preparing quotes, processing orders, tracking deliveries, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. The Sales Associate will also collaborate closely with internal teams on inventory, custom orders, and promotional activities, while representing Nancy’s Draperies’ brand values of integrity, quality, and service.
Qualifications
- Proven sales and customer relationship skills, including experience in consultative selling and account management.
- Knowledge of window coverings, fabrics, and design, or strong interest and ability to learn product details quickly.
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to work with diverse customers and internal teams.
- Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up abilities to manage multiple accounts and opportunities.
- Comfort with basic technology tools for tracking leads, sales activities, and customer information.
- Ability to work on-site in Marshallville, OH and travel locally to customer locations as needed.
- Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and a service-oriented mindset aligned with Nancy’s Draperies commitment to quality and partnership.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Prior experience in retail and/or showroom sales is strongly preferred.
Schedule and Compensation
Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
