Job Summary:
Nance Tractor is looking for a skilled Agricultural Mechanic with hands-on experience servicing farm equipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair Massey Ferguson tractors and implements (On-site & in-house)
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and major overhauls
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Use diagnostic software and tools to evaluate and service equipment
- Accurately complete service documentation and repair orders
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely service
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with service writers, customers, and coworkers
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience working on agricultural equipment
- Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and electronics
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic codes
- Valid driver’s license
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Familiarity with AGCO/Massey Ferguson systems and tools is a plus
- Must supply own tools
