What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farm Worker position at NanBop Farm?
About us
NanBop Farm is a beyond organic, regenerative farm located in Cadillac, Michigan! We are a dynamic farm with BIG goals! We are a functional farm that is focused on education, food, and fun! We want to highlight the realities of farming while sparking the joy of cooking fresh, nutritious food sourced locally.
This is an ever-expanding farming operation we started out with two empty hoop houses, and a small orchard at the beginning of 2022. We now have laying hens in full lay, two livestock guardian pups in training, and full vegetable production! We aim to be an educational center on all fronts: internships, farm tours, small conventions, agro-tourism, TV segments, classes, and more.
This is a perfect time to be a part of the farm, as it is not every day you get to see a farm built from scratch and have a hand in the systems being put in place!
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic farmer to be an active participant in the establishment of our farm. Because this farm is expanding quickly and we are actively building infrastructure simultaneously, there will be a certain amount of flexibility in the standard operating procedures being put in place. The right candidate would have a passion for both vegetable and livestock production and will be expected to work with both aspects of the farm daily.
