The IT Infrastructure Technical Specialist is responsible for the administration, support, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization's network, server, storage, virtualization, and communications infrastructure.
This role serves as a senior technical resource responsible for maintaining reliable, secure, and scalable technology services while supporting operational needs and infrastructure projects. The position combines day-to-day operational support with hands-on engineering, troubleshooting, and project implementation responsibilities.
The successful candidate will work across multiple technology platforms and be expected to independently manage technical initiatives, support critical infrastructure, and assist in the planning and implementation of future improvements.

Infrastructure Operations
- Maintain and support enterprise network, server, storage, and virtualization environments.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity objectives.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation and operational procedures.
- Administer switching, routing, wireless, and remote connectivity solutions.
- Support network security technologies and perimeter controls.
- Troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues.
- Participate in network design, upgrades, and modernization efforts.
- Maintain network documentation and configuration standards.
- Support physical and virtual server environments.
- Administer Windows and/or Linux server platforms.
- Support enterprise services such as authentication, file services, DNS, DHCP, and remote access technologies.
- Manage system updates, patching, and maintenance activities.
- Assist with implementation of cybersecurity controls and best practices.
- Support vulnerability remediation activities.
- Review and respond to infrastructure-related security alerts and events.
- Participate in security improvement initiatives and compliance activities.
- Participate in infrastructure projects from planning through implementation.
- Assist with technology refreshes, migrations, upgrades, and deployments.
- Coordinate activities with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Test and validate solutions before production deployment.
- Document implemented solutions and operational procedures.
- Support voice and communications platforms.
- Assist with implementation and troubleshooting of telephony and collaboration technologies.
- Support connectivity and communications infrastructure as required.
- Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5 years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Experience administering network and server technologies.
- Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Experience implementing infrastructure projects.
- Experience working in multi-platform technology environments.
