ASE is seeking an experienced Nuclear Safety Course Manager \. This candidate must have an in depth understanding of the assigned subject area\.This demonstration of expertise can be met through 2 or more years' experience in the implementation of the subject areas contained in the curriculum\. Experience as an instructor is desired but not required\.
The Nuclear Safety Oversight Course Manager \(Safety Basis, Formality of Operations, and Oversight\) is a senior instructional professional/curriculum manager with additional management responsibilties\.
Curriculum managers shall demonstrate an in depth understanding of their assigned subject areas\.
Coordinates and leads subject\-matter\-experts \(SME\), instructors, and instructional designers in all phases of the safety training development effort, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation\.
Delivers required course materials and training as needed\.
Ensures accuracy and currency of course materials, course scheduling and operations plan development\.
Coordinates with NTC staff and curriculum course instructors to ensure adequate instructors are available for course presentations\.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
Minimum 2 years of directly related experience\.Managers shall demonstrate an in depth understanding of their assigned subject areas\. This demonstration of expertise can be met through 2 or more years' experience in the implementation of the subject areas contained in the curriculum\.
Experience in an instructional role desired but not required
Experience with adult learning programs desired
Strong communication skills
Must be able to obtain base access authorization
DOE NTC experience is desired\.
You must be able to meet all health requirements, including but not limited to, current and future vaccination requirements for infectious diseases such as COVID\-19\.
