SUMMARY:
The Marketing Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the marketing team to execute campaigns and initiatives that drive brand awareness and customer engagement. This position involves coordinating various marketing activities, including content creation, event planning, and digital marketing efforts, to ensure seamless project delivery. The Marketing Assistant will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights and assist in analyzing market trends to optimize marketing strategies. By managing administrative tasks and maintaining marketing materials, this role ensures that the marketing department operates efficiently and effectively. Ultimately, the Marketing Assistant contributes to the growth and visibility of the organization by supporting the implementation of innovative marketing solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels including social media, email, and print.
- Coordinate logistics for marketing events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
- Support content creation efforts by drafting copy, designing basic graphics, and managing content calendars.
- Conduct market research and compile reports to help identify trends and opportunities.
- Maintain and update marketing databases, track campaign performance metrics, and prepare regular status reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
- Manage administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, and processing invoices related to marketing projects.
- Assist with mailing preparation and mailing of notices
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and social media platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
