POSITION SUMMARY:


Oversee inventory purchasing and receiving for the company. Maintain inventory levels for stockrooms and accurately disperse inventory components to the proper departments and locations. Ensure purchase orders are fulfilled by vendors in a timely manner and regularly follow up with pricing discrepancies, delays or back ordered components. Continually strive for 100% accuracy between Quickbooks and physical inventories.



PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.    Maintain the raw inventory stockroom, keeping it organized and clean at all times.

2.    Receive materials from vendors and verify packing lists match NAMZ Purchase Orders. 

3.    Accurately disperse inventory components to Distribution and Manufacturing while storing the balance in the raw inventory room.

4.    Continually evaluate inventory stock levels vs sales forecasts in coordination with NAMZ Technical Sales Manager.

5.    Run a weekly customer sales report (CSR) in Quickbooks and email it Jennifer Zielinski. (This report will help replenish the retail room minimums preventing back orders for retail/dealer customers.)

6.    Work with Distribution and Manufacturing leads to meet target ship dates for all sales orders by procuring and dispersing inventory components needed to maintain accurate and on time fulfillment.

7.    Provide weekly (every Tuesday morning at 9am) Inventory Report at Management Meeting.

8.    Assist Sales Distribution team with packaging and assembly tasks using NAMZ guidelines

9.    Provide suggestions for product and process improvements to Technical Sales Manager.

10. Must be able to utilize various software systems to perform daily tasks. Systems include email and the warehouse management system (QuickBooks).

11. Coordinate and conduct physical inventory counts for ALL inventory locations, (Distribution, Manufacturing & Lighting). (Annual inventory count and spot checks as needed)

12. Comply with all company policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations.

13. Maintain a clean work area to help ensure that merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work related injuries.

14. Must be able to work overtime when necessary.

15. Performs other related duties as assigned/needed.



EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:


Requires completion of a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires more than four (4) years of equivalent work experience. 




MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:


1.    Strong organizational skills; very detail oriented.

2.    Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions.

3.    Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.

4.    Ability to read and understand the English language for the purpose of reading shipping and receiving documents and product labels.

5.    Must possess basic mathematical skills.

1.    Ability to operate in an office, manufacturing and production-driven environment striving for 100% accuracy.

2.    Physical activity requiring reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking and hearing.

3.    Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.

4.    May be required to operate power equipment such as electric stapler, package sealing equipment and general office equipment.

5.    Visual requirement is for close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.

6.    Ability to sit for long periods of time.

7.    Associate is required to stand, walk (or otherwise be mobile).

8.    Ability to deal with stressful situations as they arise.
