Nammo Perry develops, manufactures and specializes in propulsion and energetic material products for tactical missiles, rocket motors, and warheads. Nammo Perry is presently expanding operations and is looking for dedicated team members to assist with new start-up operations and program execution.

Chemist or Chemical Engineer. This position will be based out of our Tallahassee office and will travel to Perry, FL facility as needed.

Duties
The successful candidate will perform a variety of highly skilled and specialized duties that will include, but is not limited to:
- Project Leadership and Execution:With help from senior chemists, you will lead propellant and pyrotechnic development, characterization and production activities
- Technical Planning:Develop Statement of Work (SOW), technical approach and technical specifications to meet development and energetic materials production requirements. Works with tooling, safety, project and analysis engineers to implement fixtures, tooling and equipment.
- Customer and Stakeholder Liaison:Act as technical interface with Senior Chemists and Internal customers, providing regular status reports, presentations, and technical briefings. Participate in design reviews.
- Risk and Change Management:Identify program risks and opportunities associated with pyrotechnics, propellant and bondliner and develop mitigation plans. Performs Propellant Design for Manufacture/Design for Assembly (DFM/DFA) studies in coordination with Manufacturing, Analysis and Project Engineering.
- Troubleshooting:Address and resolve technical challenges by analyzing reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance.
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Visio.
