What you will own
- Design and fabricate production equipment (automated and semi‑automated assembly and secondary machines), including material selection, fixtures, and tooling.
- Assess and refine mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to improve yield and throughput.
- Create mechanical/electromechanical fixtures and machines that meet customer and internal requirements.
- Partner with Quality, Process Engineering, and cross‑functional teams to develop detailed equipment specifications and procurement scopes.
- Verify system and product quality through fabrication, assembly, and installation oversight.
- Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repairs, following manufacturer guidance and established procedures, and arranging special services when needed.
- Estimate tooling costs from concept through fabrication.
- Manage vendors through concept, design, fabrication, runoff, and on‑site setup.
- Support maintenance with troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
- Uphold company policies, safety and environmental standards, and strong housekeeping practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- BS in Engineering and 5 years relevant experience, or 15 years in an equivalent role.
- Advanced 3D CAD proficiency.
- Hands‑on experience designing and sustaining automated assembly equipment.
- Deep knowledge of hydraulic systems, drawings, and schematics.
- Strong understanding of pneumatic systems, drawings, and schematics.
- Fluency in interpreting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings.
- Ability to shepherd projects from concept to commissioning.
- Comfort reading and understanding basic PLC code.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong organization and computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook.
- Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
- Self‑starter who works independently to meet deadlines.

Salary : $85,000 - $115,000
