Namiro Sushi is looking for an exceptional Lead Sushi Chef to help lead one of the Hamptons' fastest-growing Japanese restaurants. We're building something special—a restaurant driven by quality, precision, hospitality, and an obsessive attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the sushi bar.
• Maintain the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Train, coach, and develop sushi chefs and apprentices.
• Ensure proper food safety, sanitation, and HACCP compliance.
• Monitor inventory, ordering, and product quality.
• Minimize waste while maintaining premium standards.
• Work closely with ownership and management to develop seasonal features and new menu items.
• Foster a positive, professional, team-first culture.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional sushi experience.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knife skills and fish fabrication experience.
• Extensive knowledge of traditional and modern Japanese cuisine.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume restaurant.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Passion for hospitality and continuous improvement.
