Title: Mental Health Court Intern
Type: Part-Time; 15-30 hours/week
Reports to: Mental Health Court Manager
Office Location: 224 West Hill Street, Ste 410, Chicago IL; required in-office minimum of 3 days per week (hybrid work policy subject to change)

Who We Are Looking For:
NAMI Chicago is leading the charge on healing-centered care, a better crisis response system, student mental health, and affordable and accessible mental health care for all. The intern will work with the Mental Health Court Clinical Case Managers to assist with providing case management services for individuals participating in adult mental health treatment court.
Requirements
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
· Assist with case planning and provide support to the clinical case managers· Assist with development of intake notes and documentation using NAMI Chicago's database system· Research and source providers and ancillary services· Attend meetings with relevant stakeholders to learn and provide input · Other relevant duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Strong writing skills · Some coursework in social work, psychology, counseling preferred · Strong research skills, can be quantitative or qualitative · Ability to take initiative · Excellent time management skills · Strong organizational skills· Database management experience preferred· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
