Retail Leader is looking for an operationally strong Assistant Manager with a focus on all aspects of store performance and customer care.
Floating Manager Key Activities/Responsibilities
- Float between 3-4 stores to offer coverage and drive sales performance
- Drive sales by engaging both customers and associates
- Ensure that every associate uses our core values and principles to deliver a positive, friendly, and pleasant experience while exceeding our customers’ expectations
- Train, develop and inspire employees to create a fun and respectful environment
- Drive store cleanliness, signing, pricing, fully stocked shelves, floor plans, merchandising plans, professional appearance of our team, and how we greet our customers
- Act as a coach and resource to each store employee to help inspire the success of the store
- Ensure that all associates are trained in salesmanship, product knowledge, and customer service
- Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service through the use of excellent service skills by all associates
- Execute proper staffing of store based on customer shopping patterns, daily sales, and customer service requirements
- Ensure proper resolution of all associate complaints and other opportunities
- Other Duties as assigned
Floating Manager Education, Experience, and Skillset
- HS diploma required
- Experience in driving sales and achieving sales goals
- Retail management experience
- Proven leadership skills, including mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Strong communication skills and customer focus
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including early morning, night, and weekend shifts.
- Proficient in MS Office and other software
- Ability to lift, push, or pull over 45 lbs
