Dental Insurance Coordinator

Namay Dentistry in Maumee is looking for an Insurance Coordinator!
Starting at $20.00/hour

Performance Expectations:

• Gather necessary information to appeal any non-payments on outstanding insurance claims, i.e. periodontal charts, chart notes, radiographs, narratives.
• Verify correct and complete insurance information prior to patient appointments.
• Manage insurance aging reports and collect outstanding debt from insurance companies.
• Courteously answer telephone, route calls, provide information and take messages in accordance with practice procedures.
• Establish and maintain patient records i.e. insurance, address, contact information.

Essential Functions:

• Establish trust and care in all interactions.
• Ability to greet visitors professionally and courteously.
• Maintain composure and professionalism when exposed to multifaceted situations.
• Knowledge of English composition, grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and complete tasks in a timely independent manner.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in a dental office dedicated to a high standard of care.

Office hours:

• Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Admin)
• Friday: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 – 36 per week
