Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and experienced Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring an exceptional experience in a fast-paced environment. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, along with a background in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings, is highly desirable. The successful candidate will thrive in a team-oriented setting and possess strong time management and food safety knowledge.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience.
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
• Restock supplies as needed and assist with food service or catering events when required.
• Handle food safety procedures diligently, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Support the team during busy periods such as nightlife hours, banquets, or special events like weddings or corporate functions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during high-volume periods.
• Utilize strong sales skills to upsell beverages and promote specials or new offerings.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, particularly in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover and Toast preferred. Training will be provided.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing tabs accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience in beverage preparation, brewing, or bartending in the food industry is advantageous.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights; previous nightclub or catering experience is a plus.
