Overview
We are seeking a friendly and experienced Bartender to join our dynamic team. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, along with a background in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings, is highly desirable. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with food service or catering events when required.
- Handle food safety procedures diligently, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Support the team during busy periods such as nightlife hours, banquets, or special events like weddings or corporate functions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during high-volume periods.
- Utilize strong sales skills to upsell beverages and promote specials or new offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, particularly in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover and Toast preferred. Training will be provided.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing tabs accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience in beverage preparation, brewing, or bartending in the food industry is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights; previous nightclub or catering experience is a plus.
