Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment
- Perform detailed cleaning tasks such as window cleaning, floor care, and pressure washing to maintain the property's appearance
- Handle laundry services efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, following infection control protocols and sanitation standards
- Assist with janitorial duties across public areas, ensuring restrooms, hallways, and common spaces are spotless and well-maintained
- Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies while adhering to safety guidelines with personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Support custodial operations by managing waste disposal and ensuring all cleaning tools are maintained in good working order
Experience
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially in commercial or hospitality settings
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques including window cleaning, floor care, and pressure washing
- Knowledge of chemical handling procedures and infection control practices
- Experience using various cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively
- Strong customer service skills to address guest needs courteously and professionally
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards
- Demonstrated reliability in maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in busy environments
