About the Role
We are seeking to hire a progressively successful New Logo Hunter to lead growth across multiple business domains / verticals.
The candidate should be based in NY/NJ, focused in acquiring new clients and expanding wallet share with existing strategic accounts. The ideal candidate will combine deep domain understanding with a strong ability to shape transformation-led opportunities across IT services, digital operations, and analytics.
A "New Logo Hunter" job focuses on net-new enterprise client acquisition, meaning bringing in big, new companies (not managing existing ones) for tech/BPO services, involving complex sales cycles, C-suite engagement, pipeline generation (outbound), and closing deals for digital transformation, AI, or UC solutions, requiring strong prospecting and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Pipeline: Identifying and targeting new companies (often Fortune 1000/Global 2000) through outbound efforts, events, and networking.
- ** Stakeholder Engagement:** Building relationships with senior leaders (C-suite, IT, procurement) to understand needs.
- ** Value Proposition:** Positioning complex tech/digital solutions (Cloud, AI, Data, UC) to solve business challenges.
- ** Deal Closure:** Managing the full sales cycle from lead to close, often in complex, long sales cycles.
- ** Market Penetration:** Breaking into new markets or greenfield territories for significant growth.
Key Areas of expertise required.
- Hunt & Drive expansion of opportunities within new as well within existing accounts, identifying white space for cross-sell and up-sell.
- Own the entire sales lifecycle - from prospecting and solution qualification to commercial negotiation and closure.
- Develop deal strategies, collaborate with solution teams, and drive executive alignment.
- Partner with account teams to shape and pursue change order opportunities, co-innovation pilots, and digital interventions.
- Should have been part of large organization securing multi-year, multi-million $ engagements.
- Recent five years must have been involved in securing delas in emerging tech spectrum - from legacy to emerging, including Data, Analytics, Cloud adaptations, AI / ML.
Minimum Qualifications
- Overall, 16 – 20 years of IT sales experience, recent five years been involved in emerging tech as explained above.
- Sales experience in IT services, consulting, or digital transformation, with a proven “hunter” track record.
- Proven success in driving net new deals and expansion revenue ($5M TCV range).
- Strong domain experience is required - BFSI, Retail & Commerce (including Supply Chain / Logistics) Manufacturing, Media & Communication.
- Ability to lead multi-stakeholder conversations and influence at the C-suite and SVP level.
- Experience and comfort carrying a sale, booking, and margin target.
- Travel and Driving may be required for this role. The amount of travel and driving will vary from 25 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
- Good “roll up the sleeves” collaboration attitude to work across clients to bring the greatest possible impact through new ways of working.
- Hands on experience in full RFP life cycle.
