Server/Cashier

Nally’s Kitchen is looking for a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Cashier/Front-of-House Team Member. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately taking orders, assisting with food service, and keeping the dining and cashier areas clean and well stocked.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Accurately take customer orders in person and over the phone.
• Process cash and card payments.
• Answer customer questions about menu items and specials.
• Run completed food orders to customers’ tables.
• Fry fresh tortilla chips as needed.
• Package and stock chips for daily service.
• Stock salsas, condiments, napkins, utensils, and other front-of-house supplies.
• Clean tables promptly after customers leave.
• Keep the dining room, cashier station, and beverage areas clean and organized.
• Sweep, mop, wipe down surfaces, empty trash, and complete other cleaning duties.
• Clean and close down the dining room at the end of the shift.
• Assist coworkers during busy periods and complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Friendly, positive, and customer-focused attitude.
• Dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers and coworkers.
• Comfortable handling money and operating a point-of-sale system.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Restaurant or customer-service experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be available to work assigned evenings and weekends.

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
