Responsibilities
- Assist with talent acquisition efforts by supporting recruiting processes, scheduling interviews, and maintaining applicant tracking systems
- Coordinate employee orientation sessions, onboarding activities, and training & development programs to ensure seamless integration of new hires.
- Support employee evaluation and performance management initiatives by gathering data, preparing reports, and facilitating communication between managers and staff.
- Administer benefits programs including benefits enrollment and workers' compensation documentation.
- Facilitate compliance with employment & labor law standards such as OSHA regulations and FMLA requirements through diligent data collection and recordkeeping.
- Assist with employee relations activities by managing conflict resolution processes, conducting data entry for HR records, and supporting change management initiatives.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of human resources management practices including talent management, succession planning, and affirmative action planning.
- Proficiency in HR sourcing tools and applicant tracking systems such as Taleo, iCIMS, or Workday.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels, along with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Experience with project management methodologies to coordinate multiple HR initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to navigate complex employment & labor laws ensuring organizational compliance.
