Vetting staff are not looking at all source intelligence and providing finished analysis: they gather information that is passed to program offices for decisions. The Department does not vet: government to government assistance, inter-agency transfers, assistance to international organizations, urgent humanitarian assistance, and urgent non-proliferation assistance. The key roles of a RAM Program Analyst include meticulous data entry, excellent customer service skills, database management, QA/QC, accountability, controls, reporting, and providing general administrative support.
