Nakupuna is looking to hire a Warehouse Specialist, Junior, to support the NAVAIR Command Property Office Warehouse. The purpose of this position is to be a member of a contract support team to provide logistical support services for inventory management and physical material expertise client warehouse located in Richmond, VA.

- Perform receipt, stow, issue, & ship, along with other basic warehouse functions.
- Perform physical inventories in accordance with client policy.
- Perform material coordination efforts to organize and position assets in accordance with client policy and operational requirements.
- Identify process improvement opportunities.
- Operate Material Handling Equipment (training to be provided)
- Keep Nakupuna project leadership team abreast of any issues of potential impact to achievement of contract deliverables or accomplishment of client mission.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and on-the-job safety requirements.
- This role may be performed during first or second shift as determined by operational and client requirements.
Skills/Qualifications: The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, have strong attention to detail, good oral and written communication skills.
- Must be in good physical condition and can occasionally travel
- Must have a valid state-issued vehicle operator’s license.
- MHE license is desirable - MHE operator must possess a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate or proof of a current medical examination document on their license.
The following are desirable levels of experience
- Experience with commercial or DoD warehousing
- High school diplima preferred
- Military Installation Access: This position resides on a military installation.
- Must be able to qualify for and obtain a base access pass.
- Must be able to obtain a favorable National Security Agency Check (NACI) including an FBI fingerprint check.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
