The Marketing Content Specialist is detail-oriented and creative — someone who can map out a 3-month content calendar in the morning and design a polished email header in the afternoon. You communicate proactively, meet deadlines reliably, and genuinely care about how a brand shows up in the world. You are responsible for visual execution for the brand thats drive awareness, customer acquisition, and profitable growth across DTC, HSN, and retail partners such as Ulta – all while maintaining cohesion. This role acts as the brand protector, to ensure Nakery Beauty shows up consistently and powerfully at every touchpoint. This role blends hands-on copy and content creation with campaign planning and coordination to ensure every touchpoint feels on-brand, high-impact, and tailored to our consumer.

Key Responsibilities

Creative & Graphic Design

·      Create content and media such as social media ads, display ads, ecommerce graphics, P-Page graphics, TV graphics, email layouts, shelf-talkers, in-store signage, inserts, event materials, and more. 

  • Support campaign planning: help turn launch and promotional briefs into clear creative ideas, content calendars, and asset lists.
  • Resize and adapt creative assets for multiple placements and formats
  • Maintain and evolve brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints
  • Collaborate with team members to bring integrated campaign concepts to life
  • Proofread and quality-check all consumer-facing marketing materials for accuracy, clarity, and on-brand tone.
  • Follow timelines and deliverables with internal teams (cross-functional milestones and project timelines) and external partners (design, agencies, printers, photographers) to keep projects, campaigns and launches on time and on brand. 
  • Create asset or deck templates for presentations or other brand materials 
  • Assist with retailer decks or meeting/event executions
  • Saving and storing all company assets in an organized fashion and easy for internal and external access as needed 
  • Photography skills are a bonus 


Marketing

·      Serve as a brand steward, ensuring Nakery Beauty is represented consistently and effectively across every customer touchpoint.

·      Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Ecommerce, Product Development, Sales, and Retail teams to execute campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and revenue growth.

·      Support retailer presentations, sales meetings, new business pitches, and event execution through the development of marketing materials and presentations.

·      Monitor marketing initiatives and content performance to identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement.

·      Contribute creative and strategic ideas that strengthen consumer engagement, support customer acquisition, and drive profitable growth across omnichannel partners.

·      Help execute launch plans, promotional strategies, and seasonal marketing initiatives designed to increase brand visibility and sales.



Experience and qualifications

·      2-5 years of content or design experience, with at least 2 years in beauty, personal care, or adjacent consumer categories; experience with both DTC and retail, Ulta, Amazon, HSN or QVC-style channels strongly preferred.

·      Exceptional can-do, hands-on creative abilities while also managing timelines and due dates. 

·      Strong visual sensibility: you understand how copy, imagery, and layout work together and can give constructive feedback as well as edits on graphics and design.

·      Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines without dropping details.

·      Hands-on experience with key digital channel assets: email/CRM, paid social, search, organic social, and influencer/affiliate programs.

·      Strong comfort with graphic assets and tools such as Canva, Figma, Adobe photoshop, Microsoft office suite, and the like.  

·      Experience partnering with retailers (e.g., Ulta, Sephora, specialty beauty) or home shopping networks on trade marketing, promotions, and launch programs is a plus and following unique and specific retailer guidelines 

·      Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
