Position Overview
The Business Manager plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations of our facility. This individual will manage administrative systems, oversee client communications, support staff coordination, and ensure a smooth, professional experience for every client.
This is not a behind-the-scenes-only role—you will be a central point of contact for both clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily administrative operations of the business
- Serve as primary point of contact for client inquiries (phone, email, in-person)
- Handle scheduling, client onboarding, and service coordination
- Generate and manage invoices, payments, and financial records
- Maintain and update CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar platforms)
- Coordinate communication between trainers, kennel staff, and clients
- Ensure a high level of professionalism and consistency in all client interactions
- Assist with internal processes, documentation, and workflow improvements
- Support ownership with reporting, organization, and business operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative, office management, or business operations role
- Strong client-facing communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Experience with invoicing, billing, and financial tracking
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a plus)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working in a dog-focused environment (kennel setting)
